The National School has a long and proud tradition of pupil involvement establishing its first School Council in 1995. Today each class elects 2 pupils to serve on the council on an annual basis.
We also elect House Captains and Vice House Captains each September, giving another opportunity for the Pupil Voice to be heard on many school initiatives and issues.
Year 6 pupils put forward their own election CV at the beginning of September. Pupils in Years 5 & 6 then vote for their representatives as House Captains and Vice House Captains, a boy and a girl for each position: Red, Yellow, Green and Blue.
